What we help with

These five problems often travel together and share the same underlying drivers. That is why we assess the whole picture rather than one symptom at a time.

Please read first. We don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you have depression, an anxiety disorder or a sleep disorder, your GP and specialist services remain central to your care, and we work alongside them. If you have thoughts of harming yourself, call 999, NHS 111 (press 2) or Samaritans on 116 123 now.

Brain fatigue

Your brain runs out of fuel long before the day ends. Concentrating, reading or holding a conversation takes real effort, and you need far more recovery time than you used to.

What it can feel like

  • Running out of mental energy by mid-afternoon
  • Needing quiet or rest after mental effort
  • Light, noise or busy places feel overwhelming
  • Weekends spent recovering

Common drivers we look for

  • Poor or unrefreshing sleep
  • Blood sugar swings
  • Low iron, B12 or vitamin D
  • Thyroid or stress-hormone imbalance
  • After a virus or a head injury
  • Long-term stress and burnout

How the Blueprint helps

Assessment of each likely driver, energy pacing, sleep and brain-fuel work, and gradual rebuilding of mental stamina.

  • Reading the same page twice
  • Forgetting why you walked into a room
  • Struggling to multitask

Common drivers we look for

  • Poor sleep or sleep apnoea
  • Blood sugar and diet
  • Hormone changes, including perimenopause and menopause
  • Thyroid, iron or B12 problems
  • Inflammation, including after illness
  • Stress, anxiety and low mood

How the Blueprint helps

Testing for physical causes, sleep and nutrition support, focus and attention skills, and reducing mental overload.

What it can feel like

  • Constant worry or a sense of dread

  • Avoiding things that feel too much

Common drivers we look for

  • Long-term stress and an overactive stress response
  • Poor sleep
  • Caffeine, alcohol and blood sugar dips
  • Thyroid overactivity (worth ruling out)
  • Life events and thinking patterns
